This is my agenda by the way I’m just looking at everything I have to do Tuesday I have a test in one of my classes and then in my other class. I have a short film dude Wednesday I have another test Tuesday I don’t have anything but Friday, I have a quiz two assignments in the same class And then on Sunday, I have my research paper So I’m just gonna go on my phone for a bit till my breakfast gets here And then I’m gonna start my day Make sure to give this video a thumbs up if you enjoy and follow me on my social medias Let’s get this final week started. Okay, so I got my waffle It just has Nutella and then I got strawberries apples and blueberries on top of it It’s Larry my favorite breakfast ever and then we’re just gonna be watching friends with that I’m at Chandler Monica’s wedding part 1 so I’m gonna watch part 1 and part 2 and like we’re watching friends right now But as soon as I’m done I’m gonna start watching Gossip Girl Gossip Girls. My favorite show gonna get watched in like two years. Literally. This is a huge fight My plan is to study for my test tomorrow Obviously she’s gonna give us a list of like 12 terms and we have to choose 4 to define She give gave us a list of like 50 terms So I just have to like look through my notes and like prepare all the ones that I know and then also she gave us 4 essay questions two of them will be on the test. So I just have to like practice those That’s basically what I have to do last night. I did a few of the terms I don’t have definitions for all the terms because there’s no like power points in this class is just like listening to her lecture Which is like sometimes hard to keep up with I did not start any of the essay questions So I have four essay questions to do and have like my course back here with all the readings because they’re probably gonna like help Me for that say part. This is my outfit today. It’s really nothing special because I’m just staying home I have this purple sweater from garage with like these really big sleeves and my Lululemon leggings and then my fuzzy socks because it was A really cold this morning when I woke up So I have like seven pages of terms here now I’m gonna do the essay part blink If I have time later tonight I’m gonna go back to all the terms and I’m gonna like practice writing my definition for all of them But if I don’t have time, I’m just gonna like read over the note and then in the test I’ll just write my definition on the spot. Basically. There’s four essays She’s gonna put who on the test and then we have to choose one to answer That means I only have to practice answering three because it will definitely be one on the test that I practice Okay. I’m so happy. I finally got all my outlines done kind of like made points and what I want to talk about I’m gonna go make dinner Paula just like mac and cheese or something simple. I Made some popcorn to accompany me on my final grind of the nights what I’ve decided is I’m gonna make Definitions for like some of them but I’m not gonna like stress about making definitions for all of them and like reread my short essays So that like they stick in my brain I have to go to bed kind of early though because I have to wake up at like 7:00 because my bus leaves at 8:00 And then I have breakfast at the cafe next to my class and then my class is at night. I literally like I Only made this popcorn cuz I realized I’m like leaving in like four days and there are so many snacks that I have not finished I just got an email that I got upgrade back for my essay in this class that I’m studying for that has a test. I Got an 85 which is not bad, but it’s like the worst kind I’ve gotten in this class I’m kind of like oh well back to studying now. I finished reading over all the terms and like my short essay outlines I just like read them over like three times. I’m kind of like over the test already. I’m done for the night now I’m just gonna work on my other project. That’s due tomorrow It’s like a short film in my film production class and I already edited the whole thing But now I just have to add music to it. This is the film It was like a chase scene one of my other group members But I’m like all this music and I’m just gonna add it to the project when my camp friends is actually in my old friends From last year though. We used her room, and it was so weird like being back in my res It actually meant like someone who watches my videos I met her in the elevator I absolutely like love when people come up to me and like tell me they watch my videos So thank you. If you’ve ever done that this year like quite a few people have and it’s just like it makes my day I’m really tired. I have to wake up really early tomorrow. I’m just like not feeling good out Like I had a fever ten minutes ago. So yeah, I’ll catch up to you when I finish editing this Thank God that did not take too long. I’m already done. I want to show you one part of the film. That’s like epic I made the music change right on the beat of like when I steal the wallet and it looks really cool Whoo, I know right. I will see you guys tomorrow On test day and project day and then tomorrow I get to study for my test on Wednesday because it never ends. Okay Good night for you Good morning. I just got dressed. I wash my face and now I’m gonna do my makeup But I’ll show you what Tuesday’s outfit looks like. So this sweater is from American Eagle It’s just like knitted and it’s really comfy. And then these jeans are from urban man. Yeah My notes are on Google Docs, I’m just gonna do it from my phone Okay, I’m gonna head to my bus now but I just opened my window and it’s literally sunrise outside I don’t know if you can tell but I do not want to be awake this early Okay, so pretty little update about my bus stop and I’m the only one here. I don’t know why it was waiting for my path Look how pretty the building looks gonna go walk down to the water Breakfast sandwiches cinnamon rolls language abilities, but the other kind Wish me luck. I’m Finally home from both my classes today I got my tests done and my projects and they did the test is like actually fine There was like a huge list of terms I thought it was only could be 12 terms But it was like 20 before the test started like my friends and I were talking we really wanted one of the essay prompts to Be on the test. That one was on the test. So that turned out great. I’m gonna make it Well, she’s like the only thing I know how to make so I got her bread in the second week of school I was cutting this bread and I cut my finger It’s not gonna focus but I have like a scar on my finger right here This is like a cooking with Zoey now, then you take your ham Take one slice take another slice your Swiss cheese one slice for this piece one slice for this piece and you have your sandwich and then you put It in the microwave and then we wait And then you get to enjoy your meal with some fresh fruit and a drink of your choice Just treated you to a little as mark. All right. I hope you enjoyed that cooking with Zoey segment I mean they eat my lunch now and then get back on the study branch. I’ve already made my notes for my test tomorrow So I think before I start studying I’m gonna treat myself to a few episodes of friends Honestly at this point friends should sponsor this video Yeah like I just did a test and I’m exhausted from leading up so early so I just want to like chill but before that I Get to do something super satisfying in my agenda I loli need to check off everything I do so that I feel like I’m being productive I already did my readings like two weeks ago three weeks ago. So my short film Test Now it’s time for friends. I’ll catch up with you when I actually start studying for my test. There’s two powerpoints for this exam I filmed myself taking notes for the first one. So I’ll insert that Yes, thank you, sir Are not caramelized what I’m excited though. Okay. So this is my traditional mozzarella pizza with tomato sauce and caramelized onions I don’t never the last time I had pizza. This is so good. I’ll buy you something. What do you want shoes? Hi, it’s like almost 8 o’clock. I just spent my whole afternoon watching friends. I don’t regret it I was like stop chatting my friend Sam and I was like joking I was like Beauty Brains and he was like, ok. So now I’m actually gonna start studying for my test tomorrow cuz it’s like 8 o’clock It’s about time I just want to mention like I realized that it doesn’t really look like I’m doing much but that’s because I did it all last week or like two weeks ago so that I wouldn’t be stressed this week because I was looking out for my future self all the Assignments that I have left to do like I’ve already done them. I just have to submit them for now I’m gonna take my beautiful white 5 star notebook that costs $10 more than the regular colors But I really wanted to play and I’m gonna study my notes. See you later That could have almost knocked down my lamp Good morning, everyone. Happy Wednesday. It’s about 10:00 in the morning. I just finished getting ready for the day I’m just gonna spend my morning reading over my notes because that’s all I have to do to study until around lunchtime I have to go meet with my teacher before my afternoon class So I’m gonna head to the film building a bit early and then I have my class from 2:30 to 5:30 And then I have my evening class which is the one with the test. This is my outfit of the day I’m wearing my Urban Outfitters jeans again this new like black turtleneck from hmm, but I kind of look like Steve Jobs Okay, I’m gonna get back to studying and I’ll talk to you later. I’m on my way to Peter pit right now I did not know anybody got the last Notorious, I’m just gonna lunch here and I’m gonna go straight to meet with my teacher Okay with Warren now whoo cats movies now come back and study for our test make comment on that it was fun Back at Lauren’s we got our booster juice now. We’re just gonna study until our test wishes luck We made it to practice. It’s gonna be in length under next week. This is our last like clot and I’m done. Listen, I study here Hey guys, I’m home now I changed into a t-shirt because I was sweating in my turtleneck and I ordered my dinner Usually I don’t order overeats a lot But I had this $10 coupon for this restaurant called Montana’s that I really like But it turns out it’s ten dollars off an order of $40. I was already in the mood for it So I decided to get it anyways, but I couldn’t use my coupon But I just got some french fries and some chicken tacos, and I’m just gonna be watching friends while I eat this Obviously I finished my exam that I had today calls an exam, but it’s literally almost a quiz It’s barely even a test, but it was so hard There were three of these like same exams throughout the semester and the first two were so easy Ly about 100% but this one was so much harder That was just a bummer But then I went with a group of friends to my friend Emily’s house, and we did like a quiz for the same class We got 100 on her first try cuz you have two attempts to do it so that made me feel a lot better and I just got an email that I got a hundred percent on one of my assignments for my like online class and that made me really happy and I got my food and had my friends and it’s just a Good end of the day oh and I saw I was meeting with my teacher today because I wanted to talk to her about my midterm our cuz I got A 77 and I was like really bummed about that and like I didn’t really understand why because I left the exam like pretty confident She ended up adjusting it from a 77 way 98.5 because the TA like calculated my grade wrong So I’m so happy that I went to go see her about that for the rest of the night I’m gonna pack because I’m leaving right after my class tomorrow to go home Okay, so I just did this test and then this is the quiz we did together Hey guys, it’s Thursday morning. I’m in my dad’s car right now because he came this morning He’s gonna drive home with me right after my class this afternoon So he came early in the morning and I got Starbucks for breakfast. I got banana bread My class is from 11:30 to 1 But before that I’m gonna go to like the arc. It’s like the Athletic Center and I’m gonna get my magazine I was part of like this magazine Club this semester and next semester too, and I’m like a videographer for them The print magazine came out today I’m so excited to get it and then I’m gonna go check up on my friends Maggie and we’re gonna go to our last class Of the week and then I’m gonna head home for winter break I’m home. Now with my dog. I got home like a little while ago. I just like chilled with my family We had dinner. Sorry Cooper. I’m sorry I just finished reading over the first assignment. I’m gonna submit that right now. Okay, I did it. Okay. It’s a little while later I just finished reading like my bonus response to the chorus post There is my answer now. Last thing to read is my research paper, which is very long. So that will take me a while It’s almost midnight right now. I’m just way too tired to read this right now But right now I’ll take my agenda and cross off to assignment. I did some little learning assessment Assignment alright, I have read over my research project. I’m ready to submit it. Bye
Hey, First Gens. I’m Nya. I’m a Junior concentrating in Modern Culture and Media and Political Science. I’m Felipe. I’m a Junior concentrating in history. I’m Julia. I’m a Junior concentrating in neuroscience. And we’re three First Gens that just wanted to show you around campus and show you all the
places that you might be hanging out when you get here in the fall. So right
now we’re at the Main Green. It’s the center hub of campus. A lot of students,
professors, visitors of the campus pass by here daily. There’s lots of classrooms on the Main Green and there’s also the Campus Center where a lot of students hang out. We’ll show you. Hey Guys. This is Pembroke. This is one of the main areas where all first-years live. As a first-year, you have a lot of resources within your own dorm that connects you to different people. So, you get your own unit which is basically the floor that you live on. And each unit gets RPL’s so these can be normal RPL’s, women peer counselors, or minority peer counselors. And these are upperclassmen who are there to help you, people that you can go to and talk to about any problems you’ll have and just basically be a support system for you on campus. Hey Guys! So behind us is the Sharpe Refectory. Otherwise known as the “Ratty.” It’s a very important place on campus because this is where you eat. So, you are what you eat. That saying is actually a really wise saying. You need to make sure that you eat really well during your time here at college. Despite the intense academic environment, make sure that you are taking care of yourself, getting good sleep, eating healthy, balanced meals — these are all really important things. Luckily, there’s plenty of food at the
Ratty. They have an omelet bar and a salad bar and also big tables where you can
sit with other students and have family dinner, the big dinners with other
people. Also a place you can just study throughout the day. And if the Ratty doesn’t suit your cravings, there are a bunch of different little eateries and another main dining hall known as the “V-Dub” on campus for your selection. This is Thayer Street. Now we’re in J. Walter Wilson, one of the tallest buildings on campus as you can see from the beautiful view around me. You have a lot of things going on in this building. So you have meal services, and you also have a lot of small seminar classrooms which you may be taking some of your first-year seminars in. You also have a lot of academic and personal resources including Study Abroad, Financial Aid, the Chaplain’s Office, the Writing Center, Health Career support and a lot of other personal resources that you might need including Counseling and Psychological Services. Hey Guys. So now we’re at the Brown Center for Students of Color. This is a resource for the whole campus community, and in particular students of color. It is a great place to get connected with other communities on campus and school clubs and also find resources
from the Administration. It’s also a great place to study. Now, we’re at the Sci Li. This is one of the main libraries on campus. It’s 14 stories. So, there’s lots of individual and group study spaces. One of my favorite floors is the 3rd floor where they have the Science Center. So there’s tons of resources and people available for STEM’s units. They have group tutoring options pretty much every night. This is the bus stop. Fun fact – you can use your Brown ID to get anywhere in Providence for free!
I see everyday people with this mentality that the world owes them something. The simple answer here is that
you need to work harder and faster. There’s really nothing else. Life is a series of choices. At that moment, that choice
was quite honestly hard work. Put your head down and do the training and take the pain and eventually it’s going to pay off and on those days where you just got
to get through an impossible to-do list You really have to feel but if you put your head down
and you take the pain it’s going to pay off. And say, I’m going to do this, I’m going to harness my will. And I’m not going to let anything stop me. I deserve this. Hard work is the most
precious asset you have. You know while the other guys sleeping I’m working, while the other guy is eating I’m working but it don’t work if you don’t work. I found that nothing in life is worthwhile unless you take risks. Nothing. There is no inbetween, you’re either growing or you are decaying. If you want something you have got to be relentless. This is a winner’s quality, you have that quality within you. When you’re hungry
you don’t care about the facts, You don’t care about the odds. If you want to be an anomaly you’ve got to act like one. Why are you only giving 50%?
What’s wrong with you? You said your goal was
to pass every class. You said your goal was to
never again finish last. Most people, what they’re doing is they’re all at this mountain called success and they’re all strolling around
the bottom of this mountain and they’re looking for an elevator
to carry them to the top. See they haven’t realized yet
that there is no elevator and I’m already halfway up the stairs. I’m not getting up on time. I’m not going to work on time. I’m not putting in 120% when I’m at work. I let me down. Alright, if you work hard
and you never give up you can literally achieve anything. Break it down and add
just a little more effort. Add just a little more focus. Add just a little more time management. Add just a little more patience. Add just a little more studying. Add just a little more listening. Add just a little more discipline. To get something you never had you have to do something you never did. There are two fixed points in your life Birth and Death. And what happens in between that’s under your control. It’s the only thing under your control. Now we have no idea what the distance between
birth and death is going to be And you’ve heard the story so many times, somebody gets really bad news they find out they’ve got
life-threatening cancer, they’ve only got a few months to live. They quit their job,
sell all their possessions and go volunteering in a far-off country, giving back to other people, Spending time with
the people important to them and spending time doing the things
that really matter the most. So why is it that we wait for such a massive moment, for us to take massive action? What if you could change everything today? What if you could change everything in an instant, right now? Watching this video on YouTube
on your phone or your laptop or wherever you are What if change could happen? I don’t care how good you are,
I don’t care how talented you are I don’t care how much you work on yourself there are some times when things
aren’t going to go right. They just are not going to go right. There are times when anything
that can’t happen will happen. Murphy’s Law
will be knocking at your door. Why? I don’t know why,
that’s called life. And you have to deal with it. Sometimes your life will be in a slump Just like sports some of the best shooters can’t hit
baskets different times and games they get in a slump Do they sit on the sidelines and say
“you know, I just didn’t hit a basket today?” No. They continue to execute I suggest to you that
if you are facing a challenge don’t stop. Stay busy, work your plan, continue to do those things
that you know that work for you. After you have evaluated
yourself in the situation, continue to move,
stay busy, stay busy, stay busy. Repeat after to me,
“help somebody and help yourself” Because what you give is what you get. Find somebody that you can help so
you can forget about you for a moment. See sometimes the best
thing to do is to be. Sometimes you have to just
back up and go within yourself. If you’re going to really change the first thing that you have to move from an opinion to a belief
and a belief into a conviction is that you are the one that can change. You are the one that is responsible for who you are, where you are in life right now. The things that you do, the things that you don’t do
that you know that you should, the things that you have become, the person that you’ve become, and as a result the things that you have and there’s all kinds of
things going on right now. There’s all kinds of
thoughts going on right now. There’s all kinds of feeling but.. Amidst all of those things, amidst the sea of confusion
that you might feel. Let me ask you a very simple
question, a very basic question Do you believe that you
have the power to change? Time is all we have. This moment, right now. There’s only one thing in our lives that we’re never able to
reacquire once it’s gone. And I’m not talking about money,
I’m not talking about material items. I’m talking about time and it’s such a unique
concept, a unique idea because when utilized correctly it contains the ingredients to success, to happiness, to growth, prosperity, all the things we want. But at the very same time if neglected it leaves
us with very little. Because the truth is,
every morning when you wake up you are living minutes
you will never get back. You are breathing air
you will never take in again. It is your one opportunity
to embrace this gift. And every second
sees a little of it slip away. And my point is, that there is no moment more important,
more perfect than right now. Not in a week, not after
your promotion, not in 30 years when you plan to retire and relax, right now. See we have this mentality that the future is going to somehow
mean more than the present, that if we suffer now
or if we’re unhappy now, that we’ll save the best
in life for some other time. But the reality is we don’t get younger. Yes, we should be working hard. Absolutely, success comes from effort, hard work, dedication, persistence. But the key is, allocate your precious time to the work, to the things that make you
feel like today is powerful. That right now is so amazing
you don’t want it to end. Today is when you take the first step
towards the things you want. When you become who you want to become. No one is ever or will ever
keep you from that other than yourself. There is no ceiling,
there is no limitation, there is no special requirement. There is you and what you
allow yourself to accomplish. You are the gatekeeper, you have your foot on the gas pump. And it’s so easy to point to others, right, to point to our environment,
to blame things on everything. But our own decision, our decision to stick to the status quo because believe it or not,
it is that simple you are where you are because
that’s where you decided to be. And you’ve accepted that as okay. Look if you want change
then manufacture change. Create a plan and move go, transform, step out of your head
and into the real world. Think about how lucky we are to be alive in this day and age with access to all the information
we could ever dream of, technology that enables growth, freedom to pursue
any path that looks appealing, anything we could ever want
is right in front of us. Yet, we don’t embrace it. Why,
why in the world would we let that be? Nothing is more important
in life than living it. Nothing makes us feel more
energized, more free, more happy than following the path
we were meant to take. It’s having the courage
to step over the obstacles, to face the challenges, to be uncomfortable and at the beginning it’s tough, right? change is tough.
Getting what you want isn’t easy. There’s a period of struggle, of growth, but once you get through it you understand what living really is. Which brings us right back
to the concept of time our small existence on this planet The greatest gift
a human being can receive you by default have it. Don’t ever let it be in vain. The future isn’t when
happiness someday occurs it’s a continuation of you living
every moment to the fullest from now until your last. Make every trip around
the sun better than the previous. Never let a moment of sunshine, clouds
or rain deprive you of your gift. Be the best version
of yourself you can be. Live the life you were meant to live. All it takes is a simple decision. Stop whatever it is
you’re doing right now. Focus and block out whatever
it is that has you distracted. Lock in and listen. Ultimately, your daily actions
determine what your goals are. It’s up to you to make sure
your actions and goals know what their roles are. Meaning, you must self assess and know where the holes are and execute towards your true passion and soon you’ll get that gold star. See stars like you know that on the road to glory there will be moments that
will define your story. And this is one of those moments because at this very moment in time you are ready to break. You’re ready to break like a glass jar. You are ready to break
like a speeding car. You are ready to break. But let me be the first to remind you that breaking is not who you are. I’m gonna say that again. “Breaking is not who you are” See right now my friend, it’s simple you are in the dark. And you know what I need you to do
for me when you’re in the dark, right? Turn the lights on when I’m talking to you because you said your goal
was to graduate. You said your goal was to make yourself,
your parents, and your family proud. Those are your words not mine. But you’re in a bad place academically because your goals
and actions don’t align. Your most valuable commodity is time. Your most valuable asset is time. Your most precious gift is time. Your most important ally is time. But for no apparent rhyme or reason you’ve decided to start wasting it. And now you’re mentally exhausted and numb because that flavor of success you’re
no longer tasting it. And all of a sudden you want to quit. All of a sudden you want to drop out. All of a sudden you want to give up. Lock in and listen harder than
you’ve ever listened before. Because quitting is not an option. Dropping out is not an option. Giving up is not an option. The only option is for you
to start living up to your potential. See it’s not coincidental that those who achieve
at the highest level shake off their demons and devils and channel their inner rebel to jab, Stick, move, kick, grind,
and never settle. Okay I know, right now, you feel like
the world’s biggest loser. But this is the moment
that I need you to transform and become the world’s biggest chooser. Because I need you
to choose to start digging. I need you to choose to start climbing. I need you to choose the start redefining. I need you to choose the start realigning and priming yourself for a major comeback. And you are falling into that
woe-is-me syndrome but I need you to detox and get
that whine out of your system and change that woe-is-me syndrome
into the oh-it’s-me syndrome because yes, my friend you are the problem. And so I need you to own
and not rent that fact. The fact of the matter is if you’re being totally transparent it’s apparent that you’re
not maximizing your time. You are not in recycle mode because you continue
to waste countless hours on meaningless time wasting activities. I need you to take an hour. At least an hour. Sit your butt down, reevaluate and that means self assess, look in that mirror and confess that you are not given 1000% you are not putting every ounce
of your heart and soul into it. And thus, you need a remedy. Now let’s fix this… Your teacher or professor assigns the work Your teacher or professor
schedules the test It’s up to you to manage your study time so you can put your best foot forward. So when you’re playing video games, when you’re shopping at the mall, when you’re at the party
and the DJ is rocking, when you’re surfing
the Internet at your leisure, when you’re with your friends
grabbing a pizza when you’re browsing
social media for hours, hoping your likes are doubling, when you’re chilling with
your boo and you’re cuddling or doing a host of other things that don’t involve studying
or completing an assignment. That’s what I mean when I say your actions
and your goals are not in alignment Because you wrote down graduate and what’s that? facts So now it’s time for you to reenact
this part of your movie by going all in on all things related
to passing every class this semester So replace the wasted time with study. Now watch how quick
you become an excellent tester. Your academic stock
will soar like an eagle when you become
an intellectual time investor This may require you for
a short period of time to become a hangout with friends protester Because you’re so hungry to pass
every class with flying colors You understand you must
eat and drink your subjects and become an official
scholastic digester. And never forget Your daily actions determine
what your goals are. It’s up to you to make sure your actions
and goals know what their roles are. Meaning you must self assess and know where the holes are and execute towards your true
passion and soon you’ll graduate and get that gold star A K A, your diploma So here’s to you and the future success that awaits At your testimony of going
from almost flunking out to all smiles with your diploma when
your class graduates you’ve got this my friend So keep pushing with purpose,
focus and determination and never lose sight that you
hold a key to your success. It just requires preparation, dedication, calculation
and internal motivation. Now throw your cap in the air and celebrate. This is a great day to win. I’m not, you know,
the classic Silicon Valley CEO. You know, I think that
for me I used to believe that that meant that I could never
really achieve what they achieved that there were certain parts of
the world, certain levels of success certain levels of business that were
just going to be too big for me. It’s like how can I dare say
“I’m going to run an energy company” like that “I’m going to build
wealth for a community.” Like who am I? I made the mistake
freshman year of college of going in and having no goals. Freshman year, you know
I actually did horrible in class because I didn’t know my goals
of what I wanted to achieve academically I let my body fall apart
I just, I let my, I lost myself. And because of that I realized that
I’m the kind of person who needs to work to know herself and consistently keep track of who she is. In the end, you know, it’s about
recognizing the value in our own struggle being appreciative
and aware of our privilege. So that we can have empathy
for others in their experience it can-we can bridge the gap for them. And then being able to
take all of that and own it say “This is who I am.” This is who I am Hello, who to- who you are and to
who you are. That’s great. But this who I am take it or leave it, like I know that… no matter what happens if I stay who I am I will feel
good about it at the end of the day. The only thing that’s going to be constant
in this ever-changing world is who I am. I can hear the advice of
a lot of different people and say, “Okay, thank you,
thank you, thank you.” “This is what I want to do” and I’ll stand by it, I will never
blame someone for my decisions. No, it’s my life. Conflict Fight back I’m saying this, put together your thoughts logically and come back at me
like I want you to convince me that I’m wrong, like find the holes in
my argument, find the gap in my thinking. It’s like here’s my strategy and I am prepared to do
what it takes to stay alive. Like, what I tell my investors is like all you need to know is that I will
be standing at the end of this match. That’s it, and like
if I have to all of a sudden do an uppercut that I’ve never done or like switch to Southpaw
out of nowhere, hey I’ll do what I have to do because
I’m going to win this fight. In the end say whatever you want to say
about someone fighting’s style if they won, they won. Wanting very much to make sure
that little girls who look like me believe that they can do anything. And believe that they can do more than
just media and entertainment in particular and believe in the value
of their perspective. And so that’s what gets me
up in the morning. And then everything else the details, it’s like it kind of,
I can push through that day. And what I found is that instead of trying to
live a successful life if you aim to have a successful day If you have 13 out of the 24 hours
of your day, if you won those hours you won the day. And if you win most of the days in
a week you won the week, you know, we just need
a simple majority here. If you win, you know most of
the weeks in a month, there you go most of the months in a year,
most of the years and, and all of a sudden
look at that without even trying you’ve been able to kind of get somewhere. When I say, you know,
I know who I am I guess the-the unsaid portion,
though, is like and then for the things
I don’t know about myself I’m open to finding out. And so I think the idea is to think about our lives as
a constant research experiment. Who I thought I was,
and what I thought I wanted When I was 19, it’s to a certain
extent similar, to you know now, but there’s also a lot of.. A lot of difference in the nuances
and the details of the execution. And I think what it is, is that like we.. We all have a core that like is our soul, that is our kind of ethos
that were born with, that’s.. That’s our ethical nature that we get from our families and our friends and like where we
grew up that you know ideally and hopefully it’s good. And I think that nugget,
that’s always unchanging and you have to figure out who that is What, you know, what that is
inside of you as soon as possible. And I’ve always been
a very reflective person. I’ve always been someone who.. Who will ask myself,
you know every six weeks or so am I happy? This, and it’s a really simple thing. It’s just like the answers are either yes or no. And if it’s a no, it’s like okay, well am I doing things that well right now
maybe I’m not like blissfully happy? Or working towards something
that I know will make me happy, you know what I mean,
like am I generally happy with the idea of the trade-offs
that I’m making right now or that I have to deal with. You know, does that make me happy? And if that’s a yes, it’s like okay, cool. But if it’s still a no,
it’s like stop everything. No, this doesn’t make sense But so with that you come and go,
and you go okay, I need a solution And so I started doing
the check-in which I do just it’s more like you can sense
if you take some time to be quiet You can sense when you’re
not in equilibrium, And then that’s when you ask, that’s it. Just running running
running running running without taking a time to
just know where you are I mean then there’s probably going to
be other symptoms where you’re just overeating or overdoing this
or not sleeping, like.. You’ll, people will be able to tell you, “Yeah, you don’t look balanced”
if you asked. I was able to stay who I am by being open to learning about who I am from those who had been working
to figure out themselves as well. And I think it takes
a certain sense of humility to be willing to listen to those people But also I think it takes
a certain sense of logic I guess and just like dynamic thinking to realize
that what they’re telling you is simply part of your full concept of yourself not the all you know,
not the total of it. And you know, it is your life,
it is your unique perspective, it is who you are
that has brought you here. So anyone who invests in you
is going to want you to be who you are. They’re going to have to
trust that being who you are even if it’s different from who they are that that’s going to be
the thing that’s going to take this to the next level no matter what. And I think for me that was.. That was the critical
piece of advice, right? Like we all need someone to say
the thing that’s been so obvious, but we’ve just been to
head down to realize. You know, we all have our struggle regardless of who we are,
whether you’re male or female Black, orange, green who cares we all have our struggle And we all have our privilege, you know, I consider it a privilege
to be born of Nigerian parents like that to me is privilege to
have parents who believe in you irrationally so. You know, I feel.. I feel privileged to have gone to
the schools I’ve gone to, right? But in the end, you know, it’s about recognizing
the value in our own struggle being appreciative and grateful
for what you have and the life you have. You, you want to give back,
you want to make the most out of it and you want to make sure that
on your last day, you don’t have regrets because that to me is the only
solution, you know, to death is accepting it. And so being a 100% just focused on profit in the end, if you have to
look in the mirror, you know, you have to be with just yourself
when you close your eyes at night. If that’s, if that’s, if that
completes you, dope, dope And I mean and again,
I try not to be too prescriptive in what people, you know, I can only speak for myself and what I understand in my limited
number of years on this planet about life But I don’t think there’s anyone
who said on their deathbed “So glad I made that billion dollars.” We live in a world that’s so complicated that it’s not enough to just say, “Oh, well one of us succeeded
or there’s one example” like it’s going to take so many
different things happening to really shift the way we not only
learn how to love each other but learn how to love ourselves. The solution to the world’s problems because I truly believe that there’s.. Given how complex our problems are there is no one person or company
that’s going to solve all of them. The only chance that we have is if as many people as possible are engaged and feel empowered to be
part of that solution.
We all knew this was coming. Even if you’ve ignored the rumors and leaks,
a university expansion is all but guaranteed when it comes to Sims packs, alongside seasons,
pets, vacations, and supernatural weirdness. And with those out of the way, we now have The Sims 4 Discover University: the eighth full expansion pack to The Sims 4. And despite having fun with previous incarnations, I wasn’t sure how I felt about this one at first. Not only because it’s The Sims 4 and I have,
shall we say, mixed feelings. But also because it’s been twelve years
since I was in college myself, and wow is that an unsettling realization. Time has unapologetically
marched me towards my mid-30s and my college years are rapidly losing personal relevance. That being said, I’m excited to revisit
the experience in cartoony computer game form, so let’s get to it! The Sims 4 Discover University begins with
your sims discovering university options at the mailbox. Or at the computer or on their phone, but yeah, the mailbox is the most straightforward option. What’s not so straightforward is actually
being accepted into the higher educational program of your choosing. Your chances are increased by a number of
pre-existing factors, like how high your sim’s skills are, what their grades were in high
school, what kind of extracurricular activities they participated in and so on. Or you can take the Aunt Becky approach and
try to bribe the admissions officer, or use your fame if you have Get Famous installed, and attempt to game the system by flaunting your influence. Either way, you’ll eventually receive either
a rejection or an acceptance letter in the mail, opening up attendance potential for
either one of two universities: the University of Britechester and the Foxbury Institute. U-Brite is your historic ivy league option,
with collegiate gothic architecture and a focus on the arts and humanities. And Foxbury filling the public research institute
role, with a modern and international style to its buildings and degree programs centered
on science and technology. Now, sims can go back and forth between the
two campuses at any time just to visit, and they’re both contained in the new world
of Britechester so it’s easy enough to waft between them. But you still have to enroll in either one
or the other when pursuing a particular degree in a particular field, including the Education,
Engineer, and Law careers added in this pack. Each university also offers their own “Distinguished
Degree” programs that provide additional bonuses to careers after
your sim successfully graduates. Higher wages, more vacation days, quicker
advancement, all are guaranteed so long as you graduate with a degree of distinguishment! And that’s how you know The Sims is pure
fiction. Anyway, each of the thirteen SimDegrees require twelve course credits to graduate, and sims can take on a class load of up to four credits each semester, consisting of both core classes and electives. Sims can also opt to live off-campus now,
with or without an NPC roommate to split the rent, in addition to the expected dormitory
and university housing options. Certainly a logical choice here seeing as
sims just teleport between worlds all the time anyway. And lastly, tuition!
It exists. Sims are charged for each class and for on-campus housing, with payment making use of either household funds or a student loan. [DUN-DUN-DUNNN] Ehh you might wanna avoid that if you’re
not into paying interest and being haunted by daily Repo-Men appearances, zapping away
your belongings if you miss enough payments. So seeking a scholarship may be advised. These are awarded for many of the same merits
and skills that earned your sim college acceptance in the first place. Or if your household is just straight-up poor,
that’ll likely getcha some free cash as well, though not quite enough to cover the
whole semester. Once you’ve unceremoniously signed away
your youth and financial stability, it’s time to leave your household behind and head off to the university campus! And that means commencing with classroom attendance
right off the bat. For the most part, anything of class-related
importance happens within these large buildings surrounding the central quad area, with sims
entering whenever school’s in session. And yes, these are rabbit holes, meaning you
cannot see what happens inside. Anytime there’s a class going on, sims remain
out of sight while you as the player are waiting around outside as a floating mouse cursor
with little to do, other than click through a negligible number of options found
on sims’ portraits. Afterwards you’ll be provided a snippet
of information letting you know generally how your sim performed, and that’s that. Extremely hands-off stuff with classes, unfortunately. I anticipated at least a little more face-to-face interaction with professors, kinda like how you get to know sages in the Realm of Magic pack. But nope, for the most part it’s all rabbit
hole classes and occasionally emailing professors to request a status report. You can’t even check your current progress
from the career menu where your classes are listed, which I find baffling. So attending classes is not only somewhat
boring, but rather confusing as well since indication of how you’re performing at any
given time is not clear at all. My first semester did not go as planned, despite those pop-up messages leading me to assume my sim was doing fine. Wah waah. Yeah, if this was all Discover University
provided then it would be mighty disappointing. Luckily though, we’re only getting started. [mischievous music plays] Attending classes may be at the core of your
sims’ university existence, but really it’s all the stuff between classes that make this
engaging to play. Let’s begin with dormitories, the most classic
of university living experiences. Whether you choose the dorm life or dorm life
chooses you, the first order of business is to claim yourself some personal space. Within are several beds to claim and, more
importantly, doors to lock so you can manage who can bother you at any given time. And man, playing as SimLGR in college resulted
in my own kind of personal nightmare. Due to the Get Famous pack, he’s a widely-recognized
e-celeb, meaning that without a disguise he’s constantly being barraged by college-age fans. So instead of getting anything done in terms
of studying, he’s pressured to take selfies and sign autographs all day, while also struggling with his celebrity-induced addictions to smartphones and drinking. On the one hand it’s kinda fun to have everyone
on campus think you’re the shiz. On the other hand, SimLGR just wants to finish his media studies paper and down a couple pints in peace. Heh, I have no idea how younger internet-famous
folks in real life can handle going to school and being an online personality at the same time, it seems utterly terrible and they have my sympathies. So too was my immediate connection to my sim
enduring the realities of virtual dorm life, with their hand-me-down microwaves and mini-fridges
being the most reasonable food option. There’s no kitchen in the dorm by default,
so unless you wanna deal with cafeteria food downstairs it’s all cheap ramen, all the
time. Or perhaps a pile of pizza rolls, all of which
stay unwaveringly cold in the middle because that microwave sucks. I’d order real pizza, but my cash has quickly
reached frighteningly low levels, and it’s no wonder why. Class textbooks are 700 simoleons each, dorm
room necessities certainly aren’t free, and student loan payments are seemingly always
due, with even the minimum payment pushing the limits of my poor sim’s non-existent
wallet. So my sim agreed to a blind date he honestly
didn’t have time for just so he could flirt enough to leech a couple grand, and then ran off to blow it on spiked juice and screw around on his phone all night because he’s a washed-up influencer with a mountain of unaddressed issues. Throw in the constant need to grapple with
homework, studying, social events, presentations, meet-ups, finals, and simply making it to
class on time each day and yeah! Wasn’t long before each of my university-going
sims were so sleep deprived that they kept waking up in a haze right before class, so
I had them hop on one of the new bikes right there in the dorm, so they could book it in
a desperate effort to make it across campus in the pouring rain. The drama practically writes itself and this is precisely the kind of life simulation melodrama that I love. Because when sims get desperate, it’s not
long before things break down. And when things break down, simulated life
is at its most amusing, and managing that chaotic tightrope act is where Discover University’s
strength lies. So that’s all good stuff but what’s left
to do beyond the daily grind of attending classes, studying for exams, microwaving garbage, and pushing the limits of socially-acceptable inebriation? Some of the most time-consuming options come in the form of two new skills: Research & Debate and Robotics. Research & Debate is uh — well, it’s that! Upping this skill will improve your sims’
effectiveness in finishing classwork and debating others. It’s useful for all kinds of things in college
and beyond, like convincing otherwise inhibited sims to go streaking for no apparent reason,
or for winning heated arguments at the podium during a debate organization meet-up. Yeah organizations are a thing, kinda similar
to the existing clubs from Get Together but with less freeform weirdness going on. Debate guilds, study groups, artist collectives,
university team spirit clubs. Even a secret society holding all manner of
societal secrets. Every one of these organizations presents
a unique set of goals to accomplish, items to unlock, and events taking place at certain
times throughout the week. Including an organization dedicated to electro-mechanical creations, tying into the aforementioned robotics skill. Sims can now craft and upgrade robots big
and small at the new robotics workstation, with a selection of talking toys, quadcopters, cleaner bots, even Skynet-approved android body parts. And yes, this marks the return of the Servo:
a playable cybernetic sim that can be built, customized, and upgraded using salvaged robotic
components. They may only be artificially intelligent,
but so are sims if you think about it. And as a result, servos can perform most of
the same activities as their fleshier human counterparts, and even have their own personality
traits and aspirations. Just that instead of sleeping they need to
recharge, and instead of worrying about food or hygiene they have to worry about breaking down, requiring frequent tune-ups to stay in decent shape. They’re also distinct from The Sims 3’s
SimBots and Plumbots in terms of customization, with only minor aesthetic changes being possible,
along with six behavior modules and 10 levels of ability enhancements to unlock. And yes, romance options are an optional option,
so you can have all the metallic makeout sessions and robotic woohoo you like. Though, do be careful around the new shower woohoo location cuz uh, water and servos don’t mix. And calling a repairman for your sex robot
is not a good look. Despite these hydrophobic shenanigans, I’m
happy to announce that SimLGR got married to a lovely servo named “She.” She was the only sim who didn’t freak out
and beg for a selfie before fainting in excitement upon meeting him, so it really was the perfect pairing. Although, that doesn’t mean She doesn’t
still have feelings for some of the kitchen appliances from time to time. C’mon you can do better, that microwave
is the worst. It doesn’t even cook pizza rolls all the
way through! There are also new after-school activities
to take part in, with soccer team player and eSports competitor added to the existing scouts
and drama club offerings available to kids. The latter eSports activity makes good use
of the existing video gaming skill and can be practiced at any computer or whatever plays
games, and soccer works alongside the athletics skill and can be practiced using the new soccer
ball object. And both soccer and eSports matches are held
at the on-campus arena, though just like classes, this is simply a rabbit hole so it’s not
very exciting to look at. Besides, there are more hands-on activities
happening around campus all the time. Just about anywhere with enough open space is a prime candidate for a ping pong table and a keg or two. Whip out the Solo cups, tap that keg, and
let the juice flow freely! And yes it’s still called juice because
The Sims 4 is still “rated T for teen.” Doesn’t stop sims going nuts doing keg stands while decision-making skills rapidly decrease, so you know what’s up. Besides, Basemental Mods got ya you covered if you really want a more “authentic” college experience. And if you need a good spot to lounge while
you imbibe, there are nine new chairs for your university sitting pleasure. Finally, there are a ton of new hair, clothing,
and accessory options in Create-A-Sim mode. And it’s really an impressive selection
this time around, something I can’t always say with each new pack. Lots of awesome hairstyles that we haven’t
had in The Sims before, clothes with designs and patterns that for the most part actually
look like something I’d wear myself. And a buncha new tattoos, all rather small
and made up of simple black lines. You still can’t layer them or move them
around on the body unfortunately, but I’ll take what I can get. And lastly is an increased selection of eyebrow
and nose piercings, something simmers have been asking for for a while so it’s sure
to be appreciated. And that’s the gist of The Sims 4 Discover
University! This really is a meaty expansion, and at an asking price of $40, meat is what you wanna see. While it’d be nice if the classes themselves
were more hands-on and there was an easier way to keep track of them, the overall pack
experience is one of the best so far. It’s also the first Sims 4 content pack
to require 64-bit Windows on PC and Metal on Mac OS X, with the whole game having recently
migrated away from 32-bit executables. Really makes me wonder what’s next since
the game can now theoretically take advantage of better-equipped systems. Plus, now that Discover University exists,
pretty much all the major expansions everyone expects have been released, so I’m truly
curious to see what’s cooked up going forward. In the meantime though, I’m headed back
to campus because there are a few more skill classes I should probably take since my sim keeps electrocuting himself
upgrading his booty call bots. [electrical zapping, sim freaks out] [jazzy jazz music jazzes away] If you found this review useful then do check out my others! I’ve covered all the Sims 4 stuff and upload
new things each week on a variety of topics here on LGR. As always though, thank you very much for
‘Kia ora Cyprus’ ‘He mahi nui te karakia te mihi me te waiata i roto i te whare’ [Waiata] Our students come to us from the area of Bay of Plenty and the surrounding districts Today the school is a little over 70% Māori and the hostel is a little over 80% Māori so becoming culturally responsive and culturally appropriate has been very important ‘Obviously you can do you can do the mahi’ We had a variety of staff who were natural practitioners of the effective teaching profile and as we
were working through the processes in the classroom and developing really
great teachers for Māori boys it so happened that some of our high implementers in the classroom were really keen to become house masters in the hostel We’re very very lucky that all of our house masters are teachers so within that with the professional development we do at school it just flows through into the hostel I’m living with the kids and also running their
academic program Week 3 is to see where you’re at okay so how’re you going with your merits and excellences how you’re going with your credits okay and what support we need to put in front of you in terms of getting you to where you want to be Tuakana-teina getting that connection with the juniors plays a big factor in our brotherhood gives them that security that they feel safe within the hostel which allows them to strive in the classroom and
on the field They do drive each other in terms of the academic progress as well so if one boy is getting up around merits or excellences he’s able to to role model that to other kids ‘Anyone from my house group tell me what I yell at you as you’re walking out the door’ ‘Go out there and get some credits’ Prep which is our big focus from Sunday to Thursday night we study from 6:30 to 8:00 every night and every night the kids have teachers involved with their learning Everybody’s focused and we’re all there to achieve the same goal which is to be successful They like to come to you in a prep session for specific help We’ve got math teachers and science teachers and economics If they need any extra support I run a specific Tuesday afternoon session so separate to prep where they can come and do extras for excellences ‘So you have like a list of three things in your sentence’ “The sail, the helm, and something else we will say has been completely burnt’ We’ll keep a really close eye
on their credits keep in touch with home and their individual teachers to
see how they’re doing in each subject If there’s any areas of concern we chase those up I’ve got a large number of boys and my year nine are in the green zone which is really cool but I’ve got one boy who was in the red zone It’s pretty hard to fail when you’re in the hostel because the house master will be always on you because they want you to achieve your goals they will check your grades if you fail any subjects they will help you out, that’s the best part of it So we’ve got some strategies in place with him is that he will be placed onto an academic daily report starting in term three just
to help him settle back into classroom structures and routines and things like that Fortnightly reporting is something that was introduced last year which has replaced the old summative reporting that sort of happened twice a year It is based on attitude to learning and learning task completion Parents are getting a live pretty much up-to-date summary of how their students are going ‘He’s got good support at the hostel and he’s tracking along nicely’ We have our academic review days twice a year they establish goals around cultural, sporting, academic and citizenship ‘Chemistry, physics, biology, maths and English that’s what you told me you were going to strive for subject endorsements’ Since the attendance in the hostel academic review day process has been 100% so has the pass rate Our vision is to come through with Te
Hokianga when they leave our hostel well-educated lots of co-curricular
involvement and go and lead within their small communities and in their environments at home

that he’s like a lizard person, you know, whatever?
It would’ve been like, “Okay, look. Now, he took off his mask.
He’s a lizard.” – It’s really fun. I like how we
can use it as a meme culture and use it as just a normal,
“Hey, look at this.” And it’s just overall
a good-hearted challenge. – Overall, it’s cute.
I like it. I like people who
just have no shame about what they were doing
10 years ago. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. – (FBE) So, before we dive into
a discussion about this trend, we actually have
one more thing for you. We have your first ever profile
picture on Facebook to show you now. – How did you get that?!
(groans) – I haven’t been on my Facebook
in, like, three years. Also, I’m not friends
with you on Facebook! Who stalked me? I haven’t been
on Facebook in three years! – Ew. It’s gonna be bad.
I already know. See? It’s with my mom.
We’re at the Dodgers game. My hair is curled.
I think this was at the tail end of when I used to get perms,
’cause I really wanted curly hair. I think I look
kinda the same actually. – Oh, that’s not that bad. Obviously,
I’ve made some hair changes. – I can see differences
in how my face has changed. I’ve got facial hair now,
and I wear glasses. Other than that,
I’m pretty similar. – Aww. That’s at Disneyland!
Aww, I love Disney. This is cute!
I love my outfit. I love my hair.
Look at me! I’m having such a good time
at Disneyland! This is a cute picture. – My whole face isn’t even showing.
Literally, all you see is half– like… this.
I don’t take pictures like that anymore.
I wear contacts now. I hate glasses. (laughs)
Oh, god. I hate classes. – I mean, I’m not gonna say
that it’s cringy. It’s just… it is
a little embarrassing. Look, I’ma take off my hat
just for the hell of it. But look, I’ve grown my hair
substantially since then. – Oh, no! Baby Chelsea.
Oh, so much cringe. That memory just doesn’t seem
like it’s that far away. How did 10 years go by already?
Life moves so fast. – Look at that cutie!
That’s solid seventh grade Beckerman. Don’t look at it, though.
Don’t actually look at that cutie. This was also the height
of when I was a gymnast, so I was in such good shape here.
And now I’m just… – NOO! (laughs) This was my first headshot
when I started acting! I was such a little fetus.
They were like, “All right, look tough.”
And I was like… (laughs)
I gotta go delete some pictures on my Facebook.
But that’s kinda the cool thing. I treat Facebook and those
social media sites kinda like a time capsule.
Like, you know, how old people have scrapbooks and stuff.
I have my Facebook. So, I hope Facebook
doesn’t get shut down. – (FBE) A lot of these 2009 images
were taken off users’ earlier posts from social media, often acknowledging
how they’re embarrassed by the older-looking photos
for one reason or another. What are your thoughts
on how in 10, even 20 years, the pictures we share on social media
might still be there to haunt us for generations to come?
– See, the difference there is I won’t feel haunted,
because I find my pictures hysterical. And the pictures I post,
I do it on purpose, because I think they’re funny.
– I think it’s really cool, because eventually, I think
it would be nice for my kids to see, like, oh, this awkward phase
that you’re going through, Mommy had that awkward phase, too.
So, don’t worry. You’ll get out of it. – I’m scared that in 20 years,
10 years, I’ma look back and look at a picture
that I post today on Instagram and be like, “You actually
thought that was good. You actually wanted
the whole world to see that.” – (FBE) Some people are pointing out
it’s possible this trend has privacy concerns,
where all these photos could be used by social networks
to improve their facial recognition software
or recognize aging. Some groups are pointing out
that trends like these could be used by
social media platforms to collect information about you.
– Wow. I definitely did not
think about that. – (FBE) For your generation,
growing up around social media, do you find security concerns
like this worrisome at all? – I mean, I feel like it’s a concern
that you can have, but you also have to realize that,
you know, you’re the one that’s using the platform.
– It’s so normal. It’s normalized now to post pictures
of yourself willy-nilly, just not even thinking
about precautions and consequences that could arise from
just posting a photo. – I’m sure that a bunch
of our information that we post online is already being used
for stuff like that anyway. So, I don’t really know if challenges
like this necessarily make it worse. – We’re willingly giving up
all of our information to a bunch of different companies.
And what they do with that information is up to them.
Probably not fair, no. It’s stupid.
But… kind of what we do. I like Facebook.
I like Twitter. – I think because I started
on this show so young, I kind of have more
of an awareness that everything on the internet
has ramifications and repercussions. You just have to keep it
in mind, honestly, ’cause it’s part of society
at this point. You really can’t opt out of it. – (FBE) So finally, older adults
have many different eras of their lives to look back on.
But for you, in your early 20s, you really only have now
and when you were a kid. Hearing that,
when these challenges happen, do they make you feel old
or does it make you realize that you are still young,
even if it doesn’t feel that way in the moment?
– I think “adults” and “old” are both relative terms.
Right now, I’m an adult to my younger self.
But I’m sure I also am an idiot child to my older self.
– Looking back on something, still being like there was
a 10-year difference makes you feel old.
– If it was me doing it to myself, yeah, I would feel really old.
I think about all the time how I wish I was 12 years old again,
’cause I just didn’t give a [bleep] about anything. (chuckles)
– Seeing my generation post basically pictures of them as a child
and then pictures of them now as a young adult, it kind of has
reminded me that, oh, yeah, we’re still…
I’m still kind of a child. I pay taxes,
but I’m a child still. – It makes me realize that, you know,
I’ve only been on this earth for a few years compared
to a lot more people, you know? If I still got that much time left,
I got, like, four more lifetimes of the one that I’ve already lived
left to live, you know? – Thanks for watching

Students leaving the campus here. Some sort of incident occurred. All we’ve gotten confirmation,
our assignment desk [unclear], is that there was a report of
a gun on campus. That’s all we have but we do
know that one, two, perhaps more
victims down below. You look at the mannerisms
of the sheriff’s deputies down below there, running across
campus, swarming the campus here, searching the campus now you’re
saying, for a suspect who they are aware of at this time
and we do know that there are a couple of victims. If we can see down below here,
it looks to be another victim being treated here by firefighters –
LA county firefighters. They are the agency responsible
for this area.
